Welcome Kuzamu!
We've discussed this already here: http://initiationintohermetics.com/topic/train-of-thought
Try to go to a forest or a quiet and calm park and do a simple exercise by letting your thoughts just run through your mind, if you are able to do this then you'll probably be able to run the train of thoughts.
Be patient and read carefully, you don't want to miss any detailed instructions...
Peace and go for it!

Thx for that but i need a little bit more help, when a thought pops up into my head i automatically add my thoughts to that thought and then i realize that i am thinking and cannot control it...i try to put a barrier up or get a third person view but it does not work for me.
I try meditating 20 mins in the morning and night and focus on one thing which is my breathing but my mind still attaches itself to my thoughts. I am being very patient about this because i want to succeed. Thanks for the help already and i will be reading Bhagavad Gita.

kuzamu, if you're practicing the thought observation exercise, which is the first exercise in the mental training of the step I, then you SHOULDN'T strive to have no thoughts. The point of that exercise is just to OBSERVE your THOUGHTS, so it wouldn't make sense to try to eliminate the thoughts.

Hi Kuzamu.
Here's a good book about developing the observing of the thoughts.
http://www.abuddhistlibrary.com/Buddhism/B%20-%20Theravada/Teachers/Bhikkhu%20Khemavamsa/Contemplationof%20the%20Mind/cittanupassana2.pdf
I find it helpful when I was doing this exercise.
Another good book about the first mental exercises is "Practicing the Power of Now" by Eckhart Tolle.
Really, Bardon gives a little explanation about "how to do it" this exercises in his book but they are well known in the Buddhist/Hindu tradition so we can find many helpful informations from their sources.Best,
